If you already watch what you eat and exercise a few times a week, then family practice doctors agree, you should be at a healthy weight, but that doesn’t mean you have to be satisfied. Being at a healthy weight is definitely more important than looking good, but being confident in yourself is important, too.
Here are two simple little things you can add to your weight loss system to drop a couple extra pounds safely, and like the way you look more.
Lift More, Not Heavier.
If your weight loss system involves lifting weights, then you’re going to want to do more reps, fewer sets, and shorter breaks. Although most think that increasing the weight every few weeks or so is the best thing to do in a weight loss system, this actually just builds strength, which is good, but not what you want. Doing more and more reps in less time is more of a metabolic workout, and will allow you to get lean.
Drink More Water.
Water should be a key part of your weight loss system, and if it’s not, change that. Divide how much you weigh in half, and try to drink that many ounces of water each day. For example, if you weigh 110-pounds, try to drink 55-ounces, or about two liters of water a day. Not only is this an appetite suppressant, which will help keep your weight loss system free from slip ups, but it will also improve your metabolism.
